Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 released yesterday (June 28) and the film has been applauded by the critics as well as the audience. And the film has passed the litmus test with great results, for its day one business has been quite amazing. Anubhav Sinha’s directorial has managed to take a great start at the domestic box office by earning more than what was predicted.
On the first day of its release, Article 15 has earned Rs 5.02 crore at the domestic box office. The film had a dull start in the morning, but it picked speed by evening and went on to draw some amazing moolah at the ticket counters. Now we will have to wait to see what the film manages to do in its first weekend.
Article 15 talks about the Article 15 of our Constitution which prohibits discrimination on the basis of class, colour, religion and gender.
