Avengers: Endgame continues blockbuster run at the China box office; collects Rs 1080 crore in 2 days

We revealed to you earlier how Avengers: Endgame took a humongous opening at the China box office after releasing on April 24. It had raked in Rs 755 crore (including paid-previews held on April 23) by the end of day 1, which is huge. With that, Marvel’s superhero film broke several records. But that’s not the end of things! Avengers: Endgame continued its blockbuster run on day 2, adding another Rs 325 crore. With that, the overall box office tally of the movie stands at Rs 1,080 crore in China alone. Massive isn’t it?

Marvel movies, especially the Avengers series has always been a massive hit with the Chinese moviegoers. And hence, as the last installment of the popular franchise released, we were sure it would break records at the China box office. With the weekend yet to kick in, we are sure Avengers: Endgame will collect in excess of Rs 2,000 crore over the extended weekend in the country.
