Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame has generated a huge buzz before its release. Not just in India, but across the world! However, the mass hysteria is unprecedented in India. In fact, so much is the demand that theatres will be running 24 x 7, with shows at 3.20 am and 5.00 am as well! The advance booking sales have been crazy too. With so much buzz, we were wondering how much would Avengers: Endgame earn at the Indian box office? So we got in touch with our trade experts and here’s what they had to say…

A multiplex source revealed to us exclusively, “The madness around Avengers: Endgame is simply crazy. Every person wants to be the first one to watch the film. So 90 percent of the shows is bound to be taken by Avengers. Blockbuster ticket pricing has also not deterred the audience from buying the tickets. The film is definitely going to do a business of Rs 50 crore on day one. I also feel it is going to surpass the ticket run of 3 Idiots.” Trade expert Raj Bansal also added, “There were some issue about the formats in which the film was being given to cinema halls. If that isn’t resolved, then the business will be different. But if all the formats are opened to cinemas, it is going to cross the Rs 50 crore mark.”

With that Avengers: Endgame will surely become the highest Hollywood opener at the Indian box office till date. But will it surpass Thugs of Hindostan‘s day 1 collection (Rs 52.25 crore – all languages)? Well, that remains to be seen. However, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion‘s day 1 record (Rs 121 crore) is surely out of its reach. In the meantime, share with us your excitement for Avengers: Endgame in the comments section below!
