While Avnish Barjatya directed Dono has been getting praise from all fronts, the film has gained quite a strong word of mouth. And it’s this word of mouth that is also making the Rajveer Deol and Paloma starrer emerge as a winner at the Box Office. The Rajshri and Jio Studios production Dono has gained momentum in its business despite limited screens.
Going the unconventional route, the makers have released Dono in just 273 screens. Other than that, the film was released on a Thursday which gave it the advantage of an extended weekend. Now, all of this added up to Dono showing growth at the BO. Yes, Rajveer, Paloma, and Avnish’s debut film saw a growth in footfalls of 27% from Thursday to Friday, and a growth in footfalls of 54% from Friday to Saturday. The new age romance continues to grow as we speak.
Dono has gotten great reviews, it has been hailed as a perfect family film as well as a love story every modern youngster needs to watch.
