After impressing the Indian audience, Ayushmann Khurrana’s AndhaDhun is now spreading its magic in China. On April 3, the quirky thriller released in China across 5000 screens and in just six days it has broken its own Indian record. The film has already entered the Rs 100 crore club at the Chinese box office and it’s still continuing to get cash registers ringing. Andhadhun is, in fact, making history and here’s all you need to know about its box performance.

Sriram Raghvan’s suspense thriller AndhaDhun starring Ayushmann, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead was loved by the moviegoers in India. The film was appreciated by the critics as well. Last month, it was announced that the hit film would release in China as Piano Player. And then last week, Raghavan’s directorial venture finally made its way to the cinema halls in China. The film has already completed a week at the Chinese box office and so far it has earned a whopping Rs 106 crore at the ticket windows. With that huge amount, Andhadhun has also surpassed its Indian box office collection which stands at Rs 74.59 crore.

Talking about the film, it revolves around a pianist who pretends to be blind. His world turns upside down when he witnesses a murder but can’t do anything about it. Ayushmann was highly praised for delivering a dumdaar performance along with co-star Tabu who also nailed her part to perfection. Andhadhun also became one of the most-talked-about films last year courtesy its gripping storyline and now with its success in China, looks like it’s time for team Andhadhun to celebrate once again.
