The Bengali film Bohurupi crossed an impressive ₹14.5 CR, solidifying its place as one of the most impactful Bengali films of recent years. Since its release, Bohurupi has shown unstoppable momentum, shattering records week after week and captivating audiences across India. This past weekend marked the film’s biggest yet, with an astounding 160 houseful shows in just three days – an unprecedented achievement for any Bengali film in its fifth week.
Adding to its list of accolades, Bohurupi also became the highest-grossing Bengali film in national multiplexes, crossing ₹5 CR in collections outside Bengal. With shows increased once again due to overwhelming demand, the film’s performance highlights a new chapter for Bengali cinema on a national scale.
