De De Pyaar De: Ajay Devgn’s film picks up at the box office on day 2, earns Rs 13. 39 crores

While the Luv Ranjan written and produced De De Pyaar De had its share of struggle before releasing on May 17, businesswise on day 2 the film seems to have picked up. Directed by Akiv Ali and starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, the film got good reviews.

Despite the strong word of mouth and positive feedback, De De Pyaar De had a slow start at the box office. Yes, the film earned Rs 10.41 crores on day 1 (including paid previews from May 16). However, on day 2 the film seems to have done decent trade. Yes, as per the latest figures Ajay Devgn’s film has earned Rs 13.39 crores yesterday (Saturday, May 18). With this, the film’s total collection stands at Rs 23.80 crores.

While the film is released in around 3000 screens, we will have to see what business it does on Sunday (May 19).
