Shelly Chopra Dhar’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has hit the silver screens. And yes, as expected, the movie is off to a decent start. Starring Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla, the film released in 1000 – 1200 screens today (February 01). While the buzz was decent, we all know a content-oriented film like this won’t go ballistic at the ticket window, especially on a non-holiday Friday. So with a 15 – 20 per cent opening occupancy, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has taken a decent start. And with good reviews, it will surely go on to rock the box office!

As our trade expert – Akshaye Rathi (exhibitor and distributor) revealed to us exclusively, “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has opened well. It has recorded 15 – 20 per cent occupancy across India in the morning and noon shows. Though it is not huge, we must understand that such kind of films grow with the word of mouth. With good reviews coming in, I am sure it will see a spike in collections. In fact, the film’s major audience is working today, so expect them to go see it over the weekend. This will give Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga a good weekend.”

Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Fox Star Studios, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is getting rave reviews.
