Kalank box office report: Varun – Alia’s film takes a flying start; records 40 per cent occupancy

Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit’s Kalank has released. And looks like it has taken a fantastic start at the box office! In fact, it has recorded 40 per cent occupancy in the morning shows. Considering that Kalank was released in more than 3000 screens across India and it is a working Wednesday, it is a really brilliant start. The afternoon shows are even better, they’ve kicked in and the occupancy is nearly 50 per cent across India. Huge, isn’t it?

Talking about the opening occupancy, our trade expert – Amul Vikas Mohan (Editor of Super Cinema) revealed exclusively, “Kalank is a super hit. It has opened really well, about 40 per cent across India.” Amul further added that the film will grow over the day and collect a huge amount at the box office on day 1.
