Akshay Kumar – Parineeti Chopra’s Kesari might have slowed down at the box office, however it is continuing its run in the Indian market. In fact, after raking in Rs 93.49 crore at the ticket window in six days, the movie added another Rs 6.52 crore. That takes Kesari‘s total box office tally to Rs 100.01 crore in 7 days and with that the film has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club. But that’s not it! Kesari is now also Akshay Kumar’s fastest solo hero project to achieve this phenomenal feat. If you look at all his film releases till date, then you will realise what we are talking about.

Akshay Kumar’s Kesari has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in 7 days, giving it the numero uno position. The second fastest single hero project is Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which took 8 days to achieve this feat. In third place comes, Rustom which took 9 days to earn more than Rs 100 crore. However, we need to add that his overall fastest Rs 100 crore grosser is 2.0, which crossed the mark in just 5 days. But it was a two-hero, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer, and so it doesn’t qualify for this list. What do you guys have to say about this latest development?
