We revealed to you how Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria’s Student of the Year 2 took a brilliant start at the box office on day 1. The movie raked in Rs 12.06 crore through 2400 plus screens. With a decent buzz and limited screen space, this is a decent amount. In fact, it even beat Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 8.20 crore) at the box office on day 1. With that, it grabbed the fifth spot in the highest opening day grosser of 2019 for Bollywood.
Yes, looking at the Bollywood releases of 2019 and its opening day collection, you will realise what we are talking about. Currently, Kalank (Rs 21.60 crore) is the highest opener of 2019.
