Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria’s Student of the Year 2 was one of the most-exciting releases of the year. However, it failed to take off at the box office. The movie had a decent first week and everyone expected it to show some upward trend in its second weekend at the box office. However, SOTY 2 had a lackluster second weekend. In fact, with minimal growth, the film could just manage to rake in Rs 6.62 crore in three days.
Student of the Year 2 earned Rs 1.62 crore on day 8 (Friday), Rs 2.25 crore on day 9 (Saturday) and Rs 2.75 crore on day 10 (Sunday). With that, SOTY 2 took its collection to Rs 64.52 crore at the domestic box office. With De De Pyaar De, John Wick 3 continuing their run at the box office, we expected Student of the Year 2‘s second week to be low. Meanwhile, what did you think of the movie?
