Super 30 box office collection day 4: Hrithik Roshan’s film passes the Monday litmus test with ease

Hrithik Roshan – Mrunal Thakur’s Super 30 has been buzzing ever since it released on July 12. The film has been loved by one and all, hence it managed to earn a massive amount over the weekend. In fact, over the first weekend, Super 30 raked in more than Rs 50 crore at the box office, which is phenomenal. On day 4, first Monday, everyone expected it to see a massive dip. And while Super 30 did see a decline, it did manage to hold onto a large section of the audience very well. In fact, Hrithik Roshan’s movie passed the Monday litmus test with ease.

On day 4, Super 30 added another Rs 6.92 crore to its kitty. And with that, the film has collected Rs 57.68 crore at the box office! The word of mouth publicity has also sustained well. So the film will continue its magnificent run at the box office over the first week. Looking at the current trends, Super 30 will work well in the urban, multiplex markets. Tier II and Tier III city collections will slow down and with that, the movie should rake in Rs 65 – 75 crore in its first week.

Coming to the film, Super 30 is based on the life of ace mathematician and tutor Anand Kumar. The math genius helped underprivileged children crack the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) exams. The inspirational tale inspired and touched one and all, which in turn, helped grow a positive word of mouth publicity.
