Bollywood has had a fantastic first quarter of 2019. We revealed to you how the Hindi film industry has raked in a massive amount at the box office in the first three months. In fact, it was also one of the best starts it has witnessed to a year. But who were the highest grossing actors and actresses? Which were the top grossing movies? To know that and more, we analysed the box office collections of each film. And we come to know that Uri: The Surgical Strike, Total Dhamaal and Kesari are the top 3 highest grossing movies of the first quarter of 2019. But which one bags the top spot?
Well, it is none other than Uri: The Surgical Strike. Vicky Kaushal’s movie, even though it did not release on a holiday or festival, went on for several weeks. The content was such that it raked in a massive amount at the box office and grabbed the number one position. Second on our list is Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn’s Total Dhamaal, which performed very well at the ticket window. And completing the top 3 is Akshay Kumar – Parineeti Chopra’s Kesari. Uri: The Surgical Strike did incredible business, becoming one of the top 10 all-time highest grosser of Hindi Cinema. We also had Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kesari, Gully Boy, Total Dhamaal, all of which did Rs 100 crore plus business.
