Every year, the French Riviera is star studded at this time for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Different brands host their endorsers who walk the red carpet. Just like that our Indian beauties Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonam K Ahuja walk the red carpet every year for a beauty brand L’Oreal. Apart from them, Kangana joined the league last year with a well-known alcohol brand Grey Goose; Huma has been attending the festival since two years now and Diana Penty joined the Grey Goose squad with Kangana and Huma this year.
This year we spotted a lot of white outfits at the red carpet. Right from Deepika to Sonam, everyone wore white. But what we observed is some of these ladies pulled off sarees quite beautifully especially Diana, Huma and Kangana.
Kangana wore a golden Kanjeevaram saree by Madhurya Creations and a custom-made corset and a peplum belt embellished with pearls and jardosi work from Falguni Shane Peacock. She styled the saree by wearing maroon hand-gloves and gave us a glimpse of Audrey Hepburn from the 60s. It was one of the quirky combinations, we saw at the Cannes.

While Diana Penty wore an ivory organza and silk saree from Amit Aggarwal. The saree looked chic and elegant on Diana. Joining the saree brigade, Huma Qureshi also wore a white saree from Gaurav Gupta with a Chikankari cape. And she couldn’t really pull it off.
