How did Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone fare at the Met Gala 2019? Ashley Rebello gives his verdict!

Today (May 07), the much-awaited Met Ball took place in Manhattan, New York. Like always, the event had a theme and this year it was ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’. Celebs from across the globe graced the occasion and we were absolutely stunned seeing everyone’s looks. There was an unsaid competition going on for wearing the quirkiest outfit and many won our hearts. Do I mean Priyanka Chopra? Well, we didn’t recognize her at first but when we saw Nick Jonas, we got to know it was her. As for Deepika, she was a Camp Barbie and we just loved her outfit and how she looked from head-to-toe.

Talking about the two ladies and their Met Gala outfits, fashion designer Ashley Rebello said, “I loved what Deepika wore, she looked like a Barbie and it was all cute. But she could have done more with her makeup as the theme was Camp. And it’s very gutsy of Priyanka to step out of her house like that but she has now mastered it. At first, I didn’t recognize her but then got to know it was Priyanka.” He rated Deepika 6 out of 10 and gave Priyanka a 5 for her Met Gala look.
