Late Sridevi gets a heartwarming tribute from the Indian embassy in Beijing

Sridevi’s sudden demise left everyone shocked and saddened. She might have left the world for the heavenly abode, but is still very much alive in her fans’ memories. Her popularity around the globe is also so huge that it doesn’t need any introduction. And to celebrate the same love and popularity that she still enjoys, an event in her memory was recently held in Beijing, China. The Indian embassy gave a tribute to the late actress.

For this onsite dedicatory activity, many fans of the superstar actress were even invited to join. It is pleasing to know that many of Sridevi’s films are well-known by Chinese audiences and they are extremely fond of the actress and her works. Most recently, her 300th film Mom was also released at the China box office. It did marvellous business in its opening week. Following the strong word-of-mouth publicity, the film went on to become a massive hit.
