Arjun Patiala box office collection: Kriti Sanon – Diljit Dosanjh’s film to earn THIS amount over the first weekend?

Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma’s Arjun Patiala is all set to release this Friday (July 26). The quirky and entertaining trailer must have excited you, but the buzz around the film still remains low. In fact, even with an interesting plot and some good songs, the team has not been able to generate much hype around the film. However, Arjun Patiala has the potential to have a decent opening weekend at the box office. And it’s not us, but our trade expert – Akshaye Rathi (exhibitor and distributor) who says this! Talking about the movie, Akshaye reveals to us exclusively, “The biggest advantage of Arjun Patiala is its appeal in the Northern belt of India with Diljit Dosanjh being a part of it. Punjab is sorted and states with majority of Punjabi population are also sorted. Beyond that, the trailer and the music of the movie are quite appealing. So I certainly feel that in the Northern parts of India, particularly Punjab, the movie has great potential. It seems entertaining and also has Diljit Dosanjh doing cute antics that appeal to people across the social spectrum. Clearly, it is one of those nice, clean movies that has the potential to reach out to people and entertain them. I see no reason why it cannot do something interesting at the box office.”

While predicting the opening weekend collections of Arjun Patiala, Akshaye Rathi said, “The opening might get affected due to Judgementall Hai Kya. But it should do well in the Northern belts of India. With that, Arjun Patiala should start off with Rs 3 – 3.50 crore collection on day one at the box office.
