Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah, who has previously trolled Hema Malini for her acts, once again mocked her in a series of tweets for sweeping the areas outside the Parliament as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on Saturday (July 13). The cleanliness drive was organized by the Lok Sabha Speaker; BJP lawmaker from Mathura Hema Malini and Minister of State Anurag Thakur for social awareness.

Retweeting a news story with a picture of Hema Malini standing with a broom, Omar Abdullah asked, “But the Parliament complex is one of the cleanest places in the country, especially when the sessions are on, so what were they sweeping.” And it did not stop at that. Omar then targeted Hema Malini for saying that she would carry out a similar drive in her own constituency. In his tweet, Mr. Abdullah said, “Ma’am please practice how to wield the (broom) in private before your next photo op. This technique you’ve employed won’t contribute much to improving cleanliness in Mathura (or anywhere else for that matter).” Check out the trail right here:

Hema Malini revealed that she will go back to Mathura next week and carry out this Abhiyan there as well. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more news and updates.
