Shahid Kapoor opens up about his massive fee hike rumours post Kabir Singh

After the tremendous success of his Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor has become the talk of the town with regards to his fees. Earlier, we had exclusively told how he hiked his fees to Rs 21 crore per film. Since then other reports have been making the rounds that he has hiked it to Rs 40 crore post the success of the movie.

Shahid cleared the air around the rumors in a recent interview and revealed that he has exactly the same bank balance which he had before Kabir Singh, and he still has to sign another projects to get paid. The actor also added that according to him the only people who are making money are Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, the producers of the film.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh also stars Kiara Advani and is a remake of the Vijay Deverakonda starrer Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy. The movie is already a blockbuster hit at the box office and Shahid received huge appreciation for his performance.
