Ranveer Singh could not have asked for a better start to 2019. He rode in the new year, high on the success of Rohit Shetty’s action cop-caper Simmba. And now his first release of the year – Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy is already being touted to be a hit by the trade. But we’ve only spoken about his professional life till now! On a personal level, Ranveer brought in the New Year as Deepika Padukone’s husband. So, after a fairytale wedding at Lake Como (Italy), everyone including us want to know what are his big plans for his first Valentine Day after marriage?
In an exclusive chat with Cine Blitz, Ranveer revealed, “I will take Deepika to watch Gully Boy as she has not seen it.” Married life certainly seems to suit Ranveer perfectly well! We also know that Deepika can really cook well. So, what has she made for Ranveer? “Well, yes, she cooks well, especially South Indian. I have become half-South Indian. She mostly makes South Indian food, which is Dosa, Rasam and Idli,” revealed the Gully Boy star.
Meanwhile, Ranveer’s Gully Boy is expected to take a flying start at the box office. Trade reveals that the film has created quite a stir and is being eagerly awaited by the audience as well as the industry. The promotions, the reactions the film got at the Berlin Film Festival will all work in the film’s favour. There is a positive and a strong word-of-mouth expected that will further boost the film.
