Actress-model Aamna Sharif who has always made an impact in both TV shows and Bollywood movies with her diverse roles is all set to step out of her comfort-zone. The spunky, stunning actress Aamna will now make her OTT debut in gripping multi-layered crime-drama ‘Damaged’ web-series Season 3. Where she will essay the role of a shapely pretty-tough cop- senior police officer (DSP Rashmi Singh) with multi-shades for the first time in a rather dark cinematic universe. Vivacious Aamna who is still remembered for her riveting lead role opposite Rajeev Khandelwal in ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga ‘(Star Plus TV show) and several other TV serials had also ventured later into Hindi movies accepting striking roles.
The effervescent Shariff made her film debut with the 2009 Bollywood film Aloo Chaat opposite Aftab Shivdasani. In the same year, she also starred in Aao Wish Karein, with Shivdasani again. In 2014, she appeared in Mohit Suri’s hit-movie Ek Villain where she was cast as the shrewish, nagging wife of Riteish Deshmukh’s lead character. In 2019, Sharif made her television comeback after six years with Star Plus’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay where she plays the antagonist Komolika Basu replacing Hina Khan. Off-screen, since 2013 Aamna is happily married to her film distributor-producer boyfriend Amit Kapoor and they have a six-year old son.

While speaking about her OTT debut in ‘Damages’, actress and style-icon Aamna Sharif enthused, “It was an exciting process to slip into the character of a smart, tough police officer. It requires a certain sense of discipline and personality, and I had fun achieving that for the series. Hungama Play’s Damaged Season 3 allowed me to explore a lot as an actor. Am super thrilled about the new show. I am sure the audience will enjoy my performance.”
