Panchhi, the celebrated luxury kids’ wear brand, announces the launch of its new festive wear collection, Aangan – Winter Festive’23. With a rich blend of luxury and nostalgia, this collection captures the essence of togetherness, celebration, and timeless traditions. Inspired by the warmth and vibrancy of cherished family spaces, “Aangan” aspires to evoke the joy of festivities and the spirit of unity. This collection evokes the sentiment that an aangan is not just a space but a sanctuary of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Talking about the inspiration, Kanupriya Tibrewala, the creative genius and founder of Panchhi, shares, “The ‘Ghar ka Aangan, which in English means the courtyard of the house, is something that holds great sentimental value for me and my childhood. It was here that we celebrated all our milestones and shared our deepest emotions. It’s where we laughed, cried, and grew together. Since the festivities are around the corner, I wanted to recreate that emotion through this collection, and that is why ‘Aangan’ is a tribute to the enduring bonds that were formed in this sacred space.”

The collection draws inspiration from precious childhood memories, such as creating rangoli patterns and the enchanting beauty of the genda phool adorning the aangan during wedding celebrations. It aims to recapture the magic and nostalgia of those moments and pass them down to the next generation.
Shot against the picturesque backdrop of Rajasthan, the collection is deeply rooted in India’s rich heritage and culture. It comprises five mini-collections, each telling a unique story of our traditions, making it a perfect choice for those seeking to embrace the essence of Diwali and the Big Fat Indian weddings.
This collection is not just about clothing; it’s an immersive experience with designs that feature vibrant hues bringing to life the grandeur of a royal wedding procession, with elephants, horses, and camels adorned in jewelled splendour. Goddess Lakshmi’s grace is honoured with contemporary styles and silhouettes inspired by the Lotus and the Indian Hibiscus. The festive fun is translated into outfits with firecracker motifs in bright hues. Lastly, Rajasthan’s majestic wonders come alive amidst the backdrop of auspicious palm trees celebrating the perfect harmony of wildlife and wilderness.
