Cannes red-carpet 2019: Deepika Padukone to sport an international designer’s outfit?

We wait for the Cannes film festival every year, in order to witness all the glorious fashion that happens. Celebs tediously plan their outfits months in advance to make a statement at the red carpet for the festival. So it’s safe to say that the anticipation for our Bollywood fashionistas’ looks, is completely real! Last year, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut made exceptional red-carpet appearances and even headlining all over social media. We still can’t get over Deepika’s remarkable hot-pink ruffled gown from Ashi Studio! This years’ will be her first Cannes since the wedding, and we are already excited to see what she has in store for us!

A couple of months ago Peter Dundas, the former head designer of Roberto Cavalli, visited Mumbai. He started his own line after retiring and has since designed for celebs like Michelle Obama, Kendall Jenner and Beyonce. Dundas posted a picture with the newly-weds Deepika and Ranveer saying, “Fun with new friends in Bombay. Thank you for the great dinner.” Seems like the design-meet over the dinner, will potentially give us hint as to who the Chhapak actress will be wearing this year for Cannes 2019.
