Lakme Fashion Week 2019: Yami Gautam gracefully walks the ramp – view pics

The Lakme Fashion Week is one of the most-awaited and marked events in the fashion industry. And with the Bollywood biggies adding glamour, the fashion shows only keep getting bigger. This year too it started with a bang as designer Gaurav Gupta inaugurated the fashion week followed by designer Varun Bahl. The showstoppers for Gaurav Gupta’s designs were Karan Johar and Tabbu and both looked dapper as they walked the ramp. Day 1 was further lined up with Gauri and Nainika’s panache gowns and Yami Gautam rocked the ramp with her catwalk.

The Kaabil actress walked in wearing a one-shoulder, light peach-coloured gown wrapped in mesh work along with two net flowers. She teamed this with black knee-high boots making a rather strong statement with her ensemble. Yami looked stunning in her attire, but her extra-long gown made it difficult for her to walk and at one point she almost tripped, but then gracefully handled it all. The designs showcased by Gauri and Nanika were colourful classy. Classic floral prints, low neck cuts, extra flare gave edgier look to the designs presented.

Many more celebrities were seen walking the ramp and attending the Fashion week. This Fashion Week for 2019 is all about the summer collections which is the reason why all the outfits are refreshing and colourful. Yami was last seen in the recent hit Uri: The Surgical Strike which is still running successfully in cinemas.
