After three fun-filled days in Berlin, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt returned home late last night (February 10). The duo was in Berlin to attend the world premiere of their upcoming Zoya Akhtar film Gully Boy at the 69th Berlin Film Festival, Berlinale. And after earning high praise for their film, the elated duo returned home in style, even as the usually media-friendly Ranveer seemed to avoid making eye contact with the shutterbugs present.
Interestingly, both the actors opted for comfortable clothing, yet made it effortlessly stylish. The two had also made heads turn during their stay in Berlin as well. Ranveer rocked a grey hoodie and tracks paired with sunglasses, while Alia opted for a similar outfit but in a different colour. She wore white and red striped sweats and white cat-eye sunglasses and a red handbag. Check out their airport look:
Gully Boy is slated to release on Valentine’s Day that is February 14. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt in key roles and Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Verma and Amruta Subhash in supporting roles. The movie is also the first rap-inspired film of Bollywood. This film is inspired by the life of the street rap singer, Naezy. Ranveer – fresh from the success off his cop flick Rohit Shetty’s Simmba – will be seen playing a singer in this one. And to perfect his role and rap to perfection, the actor rehearsed extensively. The actor’s singing talent has been earning him as much praise as his acting skills, we hear from the reactions in Berlin. Now, all fans are awaiting the film’s release here.
