Sonakshi Sinha’s purple velvet bathrobe is cringe worthy

Sonakshi Sinha has undergone a successful weight loss program and we really appreciate her efforts. Her workout videos on Instagram will leave you stunned and inspire you. We have been seeing her on the silver screen in many masala movies like the Dabangg series, R Rajkumar, Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar and we surely enjoyed it. We even saw her in a different character in Lootera and as a journalist in Noor. However when it comes to her fashion choices we are not sure what to call them.  Most fashion critics agree that she needs to up her game for sure. She looks good in evening gowns but her choice of colours and styling is what confuses everyone. So, we saw Bhushan Kumar’s (Chairman and Managing Director, T-series) tweet on starting their new project Muhurat. In the tweet, Sonakshi posed with her co-actors and was wearing something really hilarious. She wore this long velour jacket of a purple colour with a hoodie and that literally looked like a bathrobe! Yes we are not kidding, a bathrobe. We are looking forward to some cool style statements from her.

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha has some interesting films to look forward to in the New Year. Karan Johar’s Kalank is an epic period drama set in the 1940’s in the traumatic times of Partition. It is a multi-starer with Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Kemmu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt. Reportedly this subject was conceptualized by Karan’s father, the late producer Yash Johar many years ago. In Kalank, Sonakshi plays the role of a banjaran (gypsy), who falls in love with Aditya Roy Kapur, marries him but is later killed. In the adventure comedy Total Dhamaal Sonakshi is paired opposite Ajay Devgan and is excited to recreate the iconic dance number of the dancing icon Helen, Mungda from the film Inkaar. Directed by Indra Kumar, this is the third part of the Dhamaal series. The huge line up of stars includes Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh amongst others.

Now with such sizzling numbers in her kitty, it is no wonder that Sonakshi has lost oodles of weight and is looking rather slim and fit.

However her dressing sense is considered nothing short of atrocious. A good dress designer will certainly help Sonakshi show her slim figure better.
