The Buckingham Palace royals are known for their discipline and they’re ought to follow those rules everywhere, be it for dressing up or making a public appearance.
Recently, we saw the new mommy and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle at the court one to watch Serena Williams play at the Wimbledon. She was accompanied by her university friends and according to reports she wasn’t allowed to sit at the royal box while watching the match. Now you must be wondering why? The Wimbledon has some strict dress codes which Meghan didn’t follow while wearing a jeans and a hat.
She faced criticism by many Wimbledon fans while doing this but the fact that she wanted to enter incognito was told by one of the sources. The source also mentioned that not getting allowed to sit in the royal box didn’t really matter to the Suites actress as she just wanted to watch Serena play.

🎾 The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of @Wimbledon, visited The Championships today. Her Royal Highness watched Harriet Dart vs. Christina McHale on Court 14, alongside Katie Boulter and Anne Keothavong. The Duchess also visited the Aorangi Park to see the practice courts and warm-up area. HRH met a number of finalists and winners nominated for the annual @lta Tennis Awards, which recognise people who volunteer as grassroots level to grow and open up the sport. HRH also met British players Andy Murray and Johanna Konta. The Duchess then watched defending champion Angelique Kerber play Tatjana Maria on Centre Court. 📷 Wimbledon / Press Assocation / Kensington Palace #Wimbledon #Wimbledon2019 #BacktheBrits
What we also observed was, Kate Middleton too visited the court one while she was well dressed in a white midi dress. Last year in 2018, Kate and Meghan attended the Wimbledon together. And back then, Meghan carried a hat but didn’t wear it. What do you guys think about this incidence?
