Milan Talkies song Mind Na Kariyo Holi Hai: Ali Fazal – Shraddha Srinath’s track will set in the festive mood

Milan Talkies just dropped its next song Mind Na Kariyo Holi Hai and it’s definitely bringing in the festive feeling of Holi a tad earlier this year. The song has been sung by the powerhouse Mika Singh and Shreya Ghoshal and it surely has a good ring to it. The music is upbeat and thumping with a signature Bollywood dance number vibe to it.  The song is a complimentary reflection of the backdrop that the movie is set in. Since the backdrop of the film is set in Uttar Pradesh, it surely captures the lingo and beats that are synonymous with the North Indian-UP vibe.

Mind Na Kariyo Holi Hai features the lead pair of the film, Ali Fazal and Shraddha Srinath. A through and through Holi number, the song sees the lead pair dancing in the midst of a lot of dry colorful colors and lots of background dancers, all dressed in white clothes – the quintessential old-school Holi dance number for sure. With tongue-in-cheek lyrics that add a nice UP flavor to the song, this looks like a number that will top festive chartbusters across the country. While it falls a little flat as compared to big blockbuster Holi classics, it is definitely a welcome addition. It will certainly be on our Holi playlist this month. Milan Talkies is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia after a long 6-year hiatus and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us. The movie trailer and songs have been captivating and interesting, to say the least. Milan Talkies is about a struggler from Uttar Pradesh who wants to become the biggest filmmaker in India. His life pretty much revolves around movies and he also falls in love in a very filmy style. After much delay, Milan Talkies is set to release on March 15th.  Along with the lead pair, Ali Fazal and Shraddha Srinath, the film also features actors Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Reecha Sinha, and Sikandar Kher.
