After a glorious and successful first season, T-Series MixTape is back with its second edition. Earlier in the day, the first song was released on the official YouTube channel of T-Series for which playback maestro Shreya Ghoshal teamed up with singing sensation Armaan Malik. The two talented singers have recreated the songs Tum Hi Ho’ from the movie Aashiqui 2 and ‘Rehnuma from Rocky Handsome. Though this is their first time working together, we must admit that  Shreya and Armaan have lived up to all the expectations and have dished out a beautiful number which is absolutely worth hearing.

While Armaan Malik has taken the soulful version of the much-loved song ‘Tum Hi Ho’ and turned it into a peppy romantic number worth shaking a leg to, Shreya Ghoshal, on the other hand, has added her own special touch to the song as she effortlessly merges it with ‘Rehnuma’. Interestingly, the original version in John Abraham starrer has been sung by Ghoshal herself. Also, Armaan’s tonal texture has really blended well with all the new musical arrangements. Well, when two terrific singers come together, magic is bound to happen, right? So we won’t be surprised if you get goosebumps listening to their duet.

Talking about their first-time collaboration, Shreya Ghoshal said, “When we started ideating the songs for this episode, it was a natural progression into the interpretation of Tum Hi Ho. The groove, composition and the kind of swing the song has, is a sort of an interpretation which people haven’t heard before. When Music Director Abhijit Vaghani and myself were going through the list of artists and Armaan Malik’s name popped up, it was an instant yes because – ‘he’s a talent to watch out for’!”

Armaan Malik also said, “Tum Hi Ho is an evergreen song. This version will see a completely different take on the song. Moreover, I am extremely excited about singing and sharing the stage with Shreya Ghoshal because it’s always been a dream to sing with her and this is the first time we are coming together. This is going to a memorable performance of mine.”
