76-year-old DID Super Moms contestant leaves judges Remo D’Souza, Urmila Matondkar, and Bhagyashree Dassani stunned

Over the last three decades, Zee TV has been a pioneer in shaping the contours of reality television in India, introducing audiences to homegrown non-fiction formats like Antakshari, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Dance India Dance, and India’s Best Dramebaaz. These properties have not only emerged as immensely popular talent-based reality TV franchises but also continue to rule audience hearts as cult phenomena, enjoying a robust following even in the current context. In fact, earlier this year, DID L’il Masters was launched amidst much fanfare and has been an audience favourite. And now, after receiving an overwhelming response to the previous two seasons that introduced audiences to some truly exceptional moms whose dancing skills can give even the younger ones a run for their money, Zee TV is all set to launch the 3rd edition of its popular non-fiction property – DID Super Moms, which will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm from 2nd July onwards.

This season we will see a fresh panel of judges, who will be guiding the talented women through their journey and help them achieve their dreams. The new panel consists of popular Bollywood star Bhagyashree Dassani, who will make her debut as a reality show judge. OG DID judge – Remo D’souza will also be judging DID Super Moms for the first time, while popular Bollywood actor Urmila Matondkar will be returning as a judge in Hindi GEC reality shows after 15 years. the TV audition rounds will see talented women putting their best foot forward to impress the judges. In fact, during the shoot, a 76-year-old contestant Lakshmi came to audition along with her children and her energetic performance left everyone stunned!

Hailing from Amravati (Maharashtra), Lakshmi’s spirit and strength were applauded by one and all, especially because she danced with more passion than women half her age. She performed to the popular Marathi song ‘Zingaat’ followed by ‘Bhangra’ on Sauda Khara Khara that left everyone mesmerised. Her performance exuded happiness and excitement and her moves even got the judges grooving. In fact, they even went on stage and danced along with her. What’s more is that Lakshmi, like any Aaji, gave each judge Rs 10 to buy sweets for themselves as a blessing! Ain’t that cute?

Bhagyashree mentioned, “‘Aaji mazza aali!’ I’m truly amazed to see how energetic and enthusiastic you are Aaji. I have seen so many performances today and a lot of contestants have requested for water after their performances. But, I am shocked to see that despite your age, you performed with twice their energy and didn’t even request for water.”

Remo also added, “You are truly an inspiration, and your energy is really amazing. I have received so many awards and money over the past decade, but this Rs 10 is special and precious for me.”

While Lakshmi’s energetic performance will definitely leave you stunned, wait till you witness the fantastic performances by these wonderful super moms. To witness all the enchanting performances of the talented mothers, tune into DID Super Moms every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm from 2nd July, only on Zee TV
