‘83: Deepika Padukone to follow Ranveer Singh’s footsteps to prepare for her role

After working together in the 2018 release Padmaavat, lovebirds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to make an appearance as a couple in Kabir Khan’s ‘83. We all know that Ranveer will be essaying Kapil Dev’s role in the film and Deepika will essay the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia. And for it, Deepika will follow Ranveer’s footsteps.

Just like Ranveer spent 10 days with Kapil Dev to understand the nuance of the game and know Kapil Dev better, Deepika will also spend time with Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia. She wants to understand her point of view to make her character look authentic.
