Last week’s evicted contestants from the popular series, Lock Upp, Siddharth Sharma and Babita Phogat interacted with their fans in a two-day special audio chatroom session on ShareChat, India’s leading social media platform, and shared their disappointments, regrets and memorable experiences from the show.

The first day of the session featured actor and reality TV star, Siddharth Sharma, who talked about his fiery altercation with Shivam Sharma, over the fellow contestant insulting his father. According to Siddharth, it was his responsibility to guard his family’s honour that led to his aggressive reaction as he condemned Shivam’s remarks, though he was also happy about squashing their beef before leaving the show. Reminiscing about his best moments, he applauded his own performance in the milk-drinking task and believed that he was able to form a strong friendship with Munawar Faruqui, who he predicted as a strong contender for the trophy.

He also shared his regret about not being able to show his skills as an active player in the show and his dislike for all the fights that took place between contestants, which according to him brought a lot of negativity.

The second day of the special chatroom session featured India’s wrestling icon, Babita Phogat, who expressed her disappointment about losing the ‘Gobar’ task and questioned the legitimacy of the showrunner’s decision of announcing the other team as winners. She also expressed her belief that only those who know how to be fake and take advantage of other people can be successful on the show, while honest and real people like her are always at a disadvantage.

Her most cherishable moment from the show was when she taught everyone how to wrestle and had a ‘mini-dangal’ with them and appreciated the strong relationships she was able to create with Saisha Shinde and Karanveer Vohra and named them as her favourites to win the show.

During the discussions, Babita expressed her dislike for Anjali’s foul language and rude behaviour and Munawar’s antics. On the other hand, Siddharth talked about how he was grateful to be a part of the show and thanked Ekta Kapoor, for the opportunity.

The live audio chat room feature allowed the ShareChat audiences to engage with these stars and a few lucky users got the opportunity to talk to both the guests and showcase their talents, which both Siddharth and Babita and the fans thoroughly enjoyed.
