He has been ruling our hearts since his romantic debut in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). Baazi (1995): In Baazi, Aamir played a woman for the first time on-screen and there’s no way this role wouldn’t make it to this list! Mickey Contractor’s magic in turning him into a gorgeous cabaret dancer with curly hair and red lips made him earn some extra brownie points back then. His dazzling side-slit gown with a sexy backless cut and his well-perfected feminine moves could give any actress a run for their money.
Ghajini (2008): Aamir started the trend of building muscles and transforming one’s look for a film, with Ghajini. The Ghajini hairdo too gained popularity among the masses. The tattoos on his body and the Ghajini hairdo made this one of his most loved looks.
3 Idiots (2009): A lazy student with baggy clothes and a messenger sling bag was pulled off perfectly by Aamir when he played the role of an engineering student living in a hostel. He had to tone down his body for this role after Ghajini, and boy, did he surprise us!
PK (2014): In PK, he played the role of an alien with large, popping ears. In this role, the alien does an impression of a north Indian guy, while donning bright-coloured clothes, eating Banarasi paan, and drawing inspiration from everyone around him. The poster of the movie, in which he is standing naked while holding a radio to cover his modesty, was controversial but is etched in everyone’s memories.
Dangal (2016): In Dangal, Aamir played the role of a wrestler and a father of three daughters. An aged man with a round pot-belly, wearing a short kurta and pyjama with a towel around his neck was quite a look that Aamir sported. Don’t you agree?
