Aamir Khan faces backlash for his birthday tweet for Sunny Leone – here’s why

Sunny Leone brought in her 38th birthday yesterday (May 13) and everyone took to their social media pages to wish the actress. Amongst many celebs was Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, who tweeted a sweet message for Sunny, wishing her a Happy Birthday. He wrote, “Dear @SunnyLeone,  wishing you a very happy birthday. Hope you had a great day.  Wishing you a great year ahead, and many happy returns of this very special day.  Love. a.” But this message came under the radar of the netizens and Aamir was trolled heavily for this tweet.

While many appreciated this sweet gesture, many went on to point out that Aamir never wishes anyone but he did wish Sunny. One user even had the guts to say, “isko b’day wish krke kyo apna level gira rhe ho sir.” Check out the tweet right here:

On the work front, Aamir will soon be seen in the Hindi adaptation of the hit Hollywood film Forrest Gump. The film is titled Laal Singh Chaddha and is slated for a Christmas 2020 release.
