‘Aati kya Khandala?’ Athiya Shetty to wed her Man-of-the-Match KL Rahul (Jan 21 to 23)!

Yet another high-profile Bollywood-meets-cricket-couple will shortly take the matrimonial plunge.! Macho Bollywood star Suniel Shetty’s charming actress and style-savvy daughter Athiya Shetty and the ‘man-of her-marital match handsome cricket-captain Kannanur Lokesh Rahul’s wedding mega-ceremony is literally on the cards. The lovey-dovey couple, according to reliable sources is all set to tie the sacred nuptial knot this month and the dates confirmed are from January 21st to 23rd. The venue is their spacious Shetty bungalow in the awesome hill-station Khandala which will be fully illuminated with special ambiance-décor-themes.

Apparently, this Athiya-Rahul exclusive wedding ceremony in Khandala may be limited only to family members, close relatives, and very close friends from the film industry, business sector, and the sports world. According to insiders, Suniel’s close-buddy-mega-star actor and Athiya’s mentor-producer Salman Khan (he launched her in the movie ‘Hero’ in 2015) is expected to attend.
However, both families are also apparently planning a grand wedding reception in Mumbai sometime later, in April. Where a large number of ‘who’s who’ celebs and guests from different sectors including political luminaries are expected to attend. Considering the phenomenal ‘goodwill’ of large-hearted versatile-actor-businessman Suniel (‘Anna’) Shetty, it will be a historic turn-out of a large galaxy of top celebs.

The Athiya-Rahul’s new swanky residence after marriage is located in the vicinity of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor whose wedding was tagged among the top mega-events of last year (2022).
Incidentally, after the iconic infectious duet song ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ ‘sung’ by actor Aamir Khan with Alka Yagnik for the movie ‘Ghulam (1998), the location of exotic hill-station Khandala will once again be catapulted into prominence in the news media. All thanks to the Shetty–KL dhoom-dhaam shaadi!
