Actor Vivek Madaan: ‘2021 would be a very special year in my journey’

2021 was a great year for actor Vivek Madaan. He received favourable feedback and love towards end of the year. His acting career was consolidated further and it was nothing short of a miracle that he was blessed to have 2 big web releases back to back this year. ‘Special Ops 1.5 and Aranyak’ were released on Disney-Hotstar & Netflix respectively, and it was really special year ending for Vivek. It gained him good popularity and his dramatically different character portrayals were appreciated in both the shows.

Acknowledging the success of his web series, Vivek Madaan says, ” To have been afforded opportunities in such big OTT shows and that too in such keys parts with such strikingly dramatic contrast, was nothing short of incredible! To get to play the larger than life, classy Bond villain like big gun opp. KK Sir and then an uncouth, rustic small town lowly, misogynistic husband opp. Raveena in consecutive releases, is an alignment an actor can only hope and pray for. 2021 has been truly magical in that sense. I hope the discerning viewers and industry folks take notice and that this could be a potential foray into other newer challenges as an artiste on my path ahead.”

On the work front, Vivek will be seen in the Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh starrer high octane thriller ‘Runway 34’. In addition to this, he will be seen in a web series called ‘Breaking’ with Endemol Shine, in Raj and DK’s web series titled ‘Sunny’, and also an upcoming spy thriller with Reliance Entertainment titled ‘IB 71’.
