Aditya Pancholi claims the rape case against him is false and part of a premeditated plan

Earlier today (June 27) an FIR was lodged against actor Aditya Pancholi in a 10-year-old rape case. The case has been filed by a Bollywood actress and reportedly her complaint mentions that Pancholi had raped her at several occasions when she was 17 and had also abused and beaten her. The Versova police have registered a case against Pancholi under IPC section 376.

However, the actor claims that it is a false case and planned by the complainant. Talking exclusively with CineBlitz, Aditya Pancholi said, “Whatever the truth is, it will come out. It was a premeditated plan to file a false rape case against me. Law will take its own course. All I have to say is that if some women misuse the law to frame a person in a rape case, what will happen to the actual victims and actual survivors. This is a 100 per cent false case and time will tell and law will take its own course. What if it is proved that it is not a rape case, what are they going to do about it? Are they going to put her in jail?”

The actress had filed a complaint earlier too. In return, Aditya had counter-filed a defamation suit against her and her sister. Meanwhile, the investigation may not be easy as the case is 10 years old. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such news and updates.
