Hasti DoshiAditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra have teamed up for the very first time for Anurag Basu’s next directorial venture which is a dark comedy. Apart from these two stars, the film also features Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Pankaj Tripathi in lead roles. With such a stellar star cast and a filmmaker like Basu coming together, we are pretty sure something very special is in store for the audience. Interestingly, Aditya and Sanya have already started shooting for the film and duo even shared identical photos from the sets on their respective Instagram accounts.
Along with the picture, Aditya wrote on his Insta feed, “A new journey begins.” In the photo, both Adi and the Dangal actress look super excited about kick starting the film. But the best part of the picture is Anurag Basu who is photobombing it. Doesn’t he look super cute? Sanya also posted the same picture but didn’t caption it. Instead she simply used a smiling emoticon for the picture. Though the film is yet-to-be titled, it will have four different stories and will be shot in Indian metro cities. Reportedly, the film will talk about the unavoidable jeopardies of living a metro life.
Apart from Anurag Basu’s dark comedy, Aditya has two more films on his plate. The actor will next be seen in Kalank alongside Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha. He has also signed Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 which will hit the theatres next year on March 25. Sanya, on the other hand, will be seen Ritesh Batra’s Photograph which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. The film will arrive in theatres on March 15.
