After getting embroiled in controversies, Hyder Kazmi’s Jihad to stream on Mastani and Hungama Play

Kazmi has 2 more films coming up this year. And he also has 2 Hollywood projects in his Kitty. The names of the cast and the crew are yet to be Disclosed.

International Award winning Actor and Filmmaker. Hyder Kazmi’s movies have always amazed the audience on various International platforms. Bearing a strange resemblance to the late actor Irrfan Khan, Hyder is also known as the King of “Parallel Cinema”. Many cult actors believe that Hyder Kazmi is the next Big thing in Bollywood after Irfan Khan as his movie “JIHAD” has till date received 35 International awards, including ‘Best Actor’ awards from ‘Out of the Can film festival’ , ‘Los Angeles Independent film festival awards’ , ‘Global Revolutionary film festival ‘ , ‘Toronto International Nollywood film festival’ and  the list goes on. Jihad dremiered at the prestigious Cannes film festival in 2018.

Kazmi struggled for 1 year to get the title “JIHAD” as it holds the controversial meaning but Kazmi says “Jihad means to kill the anger and devil inside you and nothing else. Censor board refused his movie twice but he made sure the 3rd time he passed all the norms. After having had a very tough time with Censor, Hyder is finally releasing “Jihad” on 21st July 2021 on the occasion of Eid on OTT Platforms MASTANI and HUNGAMA PLAY.

This film based on the inflammable Kashmir issue has been directed by Rakesh Parmar who has shot the film on the sensitive locations of Kashmir such as Kupwara, Charari Sharif, Doodh Ganga, Yusmarg. Hyder Kazmi has also  given workshops to the local actors of Kashmir. And there were more than 80% of the characters in the movie played by these Kashmiri Actors. Which makes the film more authentic and realistic. Kazmi has 2 more films coming up this year. And he also has 2 Hollywood projects in his Kitty.
