Amidst the on-going buzz about Indian cricket player and ex-skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni retiring from cricket after the ICC World Cup 2019, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar posted a heartfelt message asking him to not even think of doing so. And now others from the industry have joined her as well, including lyricist Javed Akhtar and rapper-singer Badshah.
Both the personalities took to twitter and asked Captain Cool to not retire. While Badshah only said, “Please dont retire @msdhoni”, Javed Akhtar wrote a long message, “As a middle-order batsman or a WK M S Dhoni is a totally dependable n trustworthy. Virat is graceful enough to accept that Dhoni’s understanding of game is an advantage for the team .One can see that a lot of cricket is still left in Him. Why even talk about his retirement(?)” Check out both the tweets here:

Well, not just us, even Bollywood loves cricket more than we thought and we cannot disagree with them when it comes to the decision of Mahi retiring from the cricket. His helicopter shots, running between the wickets and timing is what we enjoy the most and just hope he stays for a little longer in the game. For more news and updates, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
