After Sanju, Ranbir wishes to work with Rajkumar Hirani again

Last year, Ranbir Kapoor not only impressed the critics but also the audience with his acting in Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial venture Sanju. The biopic, based on the life of superstar Sanjay Dutt, stormed the box office and became one of the highest grossing films of 2018. No wonder, RK felt good as he delivered a hit after a very long time. And now it seems the talented actor once again wants to team up with Hirani. How do we know? Well, at a recent awards ceremony, after winning the Best Actor award for Sanju, the Kapoor lad expressed his desire to work with Rajkumar Hirani again.

Ranbir’s revelation may have surprised many as Hirani was recently embroiled in the #MeToo controversy. The super successful filmmaker was accused of sexual harassment after which many celebs from the industry decided to not work with him till the matter was resolved. But looks like Ranbir doesn’t mind continuing his association with the Sanju director, however, we wonder what his fans think about the same. Though the allegations against Rajkumar Hirani aren’t confirmed yet, the director had earlier said, “I was completely shocked when these allegations were brought to my notice about two months back. I had suggested immediately that it is essential to take this matter to any committee or legal body. The complainant has chosen to go to the media instead. I want to very strongly state that this is a false malicious and mischievous story being spread with the sole intention of destroying my reputation.”

While the whole episode shook the industry, many celebs came forward in support of Hirani as well. Sharman Joshi, Karishma Tanna, Javed Akhtar, Boney Kapoor and few others stood by him when the controversy gripped the entire nation. Anyway, Sanju was a good collaboration for Ranbir and Rajkumar Hirani so if they team up for a film again then the subject would have to be very special and interesting, no peeps?
