After Singham, Golmaal comes to life as an animated show

Haven’t we all laughed so hard watching Golmaal? The film saw Arshad Warsi, Ajay Devgn, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor and others portray iconic characters who are still very much alive in our minds. The first Golmaal film was a massive hit and its success pushed Rohit Shetty to make Golmaal a franchise, which ultimately worked well for the director. Well, that being said, did any of us ever think that we’ll be seeing these characters as animated figures? Not even in our wildest dreams, right? Well, Nickelodeon will soon be launching an animated show, inspired by the superhit Golmaal film franchise.

Wouldn’t it be awesome for kids to see Rohit Shetty’s popular Golmaal franchise come to life as an animated series? After magic toon, Rudra, this animated series will be the channel’s next made-in-India show. The magic of the superhit Golmaal already has left adults across the country spellbound, and now the series is all set to capture the hearts of our nation’s kids with its junior prank gang. Golmaal Junior will bring two prank gangs together; both gang members being naughty, mischievous and full of life, yet poles apart. The junior versions of Gopal, Madhav, Laxman, and Lucky are prepping up to ensure that kids have the time of their life soon.

Coming back to the Golmaal franchise, Rohit Shetty is working on his next instalment and the film is likely to go on floors next year. It would be the fifth installment. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same until now. Since Rohit is already held up with another project, this might be his next project. Till then, we can treat ourselves to the animated series on the small screen.
