After the entire MakeMyTrip fiasco, Aahana Kumra says that the company still hasn’t reached out to her and they don’t care if she has reached safely or not. The only thing they have said is that they are ready to refund her money. But that’s something Aahana doesn’t want. All she wanted was a safe and sound journey which obviously wasn’t the case. While she was travelling on a work trip from Shimla to Amritsar, Kumra was held captive by her cab driver for allegedly not processing his entire payment. But the actress had already paid for her trip to the travel company MakeMyTrip.

After posting multiple tweets, everyone was alerted about her horrifying situation. MakeMyTrip then sent out a sorry message to the actress for the inconvenience that was caused to her but Aahana thinks saying sorry is not enough. Reading her posts on Twitter, few of her celeb friends immediately reached out to her out of concern and care. While talking Exclusively to CineBlitz, Aahana said, “My parents didn’t know about it as I didn’t want them to be scared and worried about it. But my friends like Faye D’souza, Nikhil Advani, Aditya Thackeray, Gurmeher Kaur called me up to check on me.”

Aahana Kumra, who was seen in the critically acclaimed film Lipstick Under My Burkha, was held hostage for hours by her cab driver in the middle of nowhere on March 23. After sharing her experience on Twitter, the actress finally managed to get some help and eventually reached her destination safely. Later, she wrote on Twitter, “To think that I can be heard because I’m a verified account on @Twitter is a blessing. I can’t imagine what companies like @makemytrip must be treating their other women passengers like with their most pathetic customer service.”
