Vivek Anand Oberoi called for trouble recently when the PM Narendra Modi actor put up a meme on his twitter handle that featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and was a commentary of her past relationships. While the meme was in the context of the status of elections 2019, it was done in a bad taste. The topic became a huge controversy and Vivek was on the receiving end as he had to face a huge backlash. The recent update is that actress has finally reacted to the issue and here is all you need to know about the same.
Aishwarya, who was at the Cannes Film Festival during the whole controversy, returned home recently. When asked about the issue she chose to remain silent and had no reaction. Seems like Aishwarya has no interest in giving the discussion any more boost.
However, it has not been an easy ride for Vivek since the post went up, Netizens gave him a hard time. And many tinsel town members including Sonam K Ahuja, Anupam Kher, Esha Gupta and a few more have condemned his tweet.
Vivek finally deleted the tweet and also put up an apology. The actor will today (May 24) be seen as the PM in the biopic PM Narendra Modi as the film releases today.
