Akshay Bardapurkar honored on behalf of Brihan Maharashtra Mandal for Planet Marathi

Brihanmaharashtra Mandal has been working abroad for the past thirty five years. This year they have started a special award and Akshay Bardapurkar was felicitated. Nowadays Marathi movies, web series and Marathi content are getting good response from people. Being the leader in the world of entertainment and the world’s first Marathi OTT channel, ‘Planet Marathi’ has left an impression on the minds of the audience. Planet Marathi OTT fans are not only in Maharashtra but all over the world. Akshay Bardapurkar was honored with the ‘Entrepreneur of the year’ award at the recently held BMM i.e. Brihanmaharashtra Mandal program held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This event, which was interrupted for 2 years due to Covid, was held with a bang this year.

Akshay Bardapurkar said, “This award given by Brihanmaharashtra Mandal in a program held in Atlantic City, New Jersey has taken the Marathi cinema to a new level. It is a matter of great joy and pride for me to receive this award in the first year of the awards.” Akshay Bardapurkar also announced on this occasion that along with the National Award winning film ‘Goshta Eka Paithnichi’ produced by Planet Marathi, ‘Sahela Re’, ‘Sunny’ and more than ten Marathi films and web series will be brought to the audience in the near future.
