CB DeskActor Akshay Kumar who has just returned after spending time with the Border Security Force has just donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of a school building in a village near the Line of Control. The school is going to be named after his father Hari Om Bhatia. The Tulail village is along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district where the actor had gone to meet the BSF jawans who are stationed there.
The actor has been doing his bit in terms of donations and reaching out to people through various associations. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have donated oxygen cylinders and helped cricketer turned politics by transferring Rs one crore to his NGO. The actor has been doing hit bit for the film fraternity too last year he helped the stunt artists with money and ration this year he has provided ration kits to cine dancers. The actor will soon be back on the sets and it will be with Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan that has Bhumi Pednekar as the female lead in it.
