The wedding season is the best time to spot our favourite celebrities taking a break from their hectic work schedules and enjoying their personal time. Recently, Alia Bhatt flew down to the capital to attend one of her best friend’s wedding. But that’s not it! She also kept all her fans updated via Instagram about all the wedding shenanigans. From a fun haldi night to a beautiful sangeet ceremony and a fairytale wedding, all of this left Alia feeling very emotional. In fact, the 25-year-old even teared up after her BFF Devika Advani made her way to the mandap.

The candid moment was captured at the wedding and somehow made its way to social media. It obviously grabbed everyone’s attention and now Alia is trending for the same. The picture, we have to admit, is absolutely beautiful. Since Alia was one of the bridesmaids, she also gave a speech at the wedding. She started off by saying, “Firstly, I’m gonna try very hard not to cry.” And then she went on to share few of their childhood stories. From talking about their role-playing games to expressing how happy she feels for her friend, Alia’s speech was indeed very touching. And we are pretty sure it must have made everyone emotional. In the meantime, Alia has already wrapped shooting for Karan Johar’s upcoming production venture Kalank. She also has Ayan Mukerji’s highly anticipated film Brahmastra lined up for release this year. It stars her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in the lead along with Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from these two films, Alia has signed her father Mahesh Bhatt’s next Sadak 2 and KJo’s magnum opus Takht as well.
