Alia Bhatt came on Kangana Ranaut’s radar when the Kalank actress did not support her film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. The Mental Hai Kya actress has increasingly been taking digs at Alia and even spoke about how insensitive and rude Alia’s behaviour is. Kangana even called Alia’s performance in Gully Boy mediocre. However, while Alia was unperturbed, Kangana’s one-way banter did not stop at that. Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel also joined in her sister Kangana, calling the Raazi actress and her mother Soni Razdan ‘non-Indians’ because of the British passport that they hold. Rangoli later accused Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt of throwing a shoe on Kangana on the sets of Gangster (Kangana’s debut film), but Alia yet again did not give into the verbal war.

She had the most subtle reply to the remarks. During an event, when she was questioned about the incident, she said, “If I’m like this, then my family is ten times more mature and stronger than I am. I don’t want to get into this. I want to be happy, positive, work hard and be a better version of myself every day.”

“I should not pay attention to what people say or don’t say. Everybody has the right to say what they want to. I will be quiet, that’s my stand,” she concluded. Alia said that this was her “taking a stand” on the whole situation and she will abide by her “no-reaction” resolution.

Alia’s Highway co-star Randeep Hooda also took to his Twitter account to support Alia. He was then verbally taken on by Rangoli as well. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such news and updates.
