Yes. Believe it or not, the latest news is that none other than the Big B himself has been afflicted with the dreaded Corona for the second time in two years. Amitabh himself tweeted this in his latest post, late yesterday night. Mr Bachchan has asked all those people who have met the actor in the last few days to get their Covid test done.

“I have just tested Covid + positive. All those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also (sic),” Big B wrote on Twitter. Luckily this time, apart from the actor, no other member of his family has been found to be corona infected, while two years ago, along with Amitabh Bachchan, his family members like his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter in law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aaradhya also had an attack of coronavirus.

While Big B and Abhishek were hospitalized, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were home quarantined. At the same time, in the early days of 2022, a staff member of Big B’s house also got infected with this virus. Back in 2020, Big B contracted the coronavirus in the month of July. At that time, he was hospitalized when he was also admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai for over three weeks and received treatment for the same.

The actor has been shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. On Amitabh Bachchan’s work front, the legendary actor was last seen in the film ‘Runway 34’ opposite Ajay Devgan and now he will be seen in the film ‘Brahmastra’, a multi-starrer film, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film will release on September 9. Bachchan is also a part of films like Rajshri’s Uunchai, Goodbye, Project K, and The Intern remake among others. We wish Bachchan Saab a speedy recovery this time.
